Partner Tourist Association Eppan: The Tennisclub Rungg: Green is the colour of Tennisclub Rungg/Raiffeisen. And the founders - in 1979 - made a very good choose, because Tennisclub Rungg is in fact a green club. The Community of Eppan has built a little green tennis paradise in the middle of the forest of Montiggl.
The seven clay courts, the team of tennis instructors and the fitness parcours in the forest of Montiggl give a lot of possibilities of sport activity. This all has become a natural thing for the 300 members of Tennisclub Rungg/Raiffeisen, but the tourists are always entusiastic.
The Tennisclub Rungg/Raiffeisen now is 24 years old. It's not one of the oldest tennis clubs of South Tyrol, but certainly one of the most important. The first team plays in Serie B1, Italy's third high league. Every year more then 20 teams of Tennisclub Rungg/Raiffeisen play in the various championships.
