An easy walk starting in Girlan and walking in an easterly direction past Jesuheim. Soon you will see the impressive restaurant Marklhof, an inside tip for good food (phone +39 0471 662407).
Just 200 m after the restaurant, we reach what is called "the view", a wonderful experience.
To get to where we want to go, we must turn round and go back to the restaurant and take path 1. After one hour we reach the ruin of Castle Sigmundskron. From here we can either take the bus from Frangart back to Eppan or walk back the way we came.
