Hungerhausen

Hungerhausen: lies on the road from Andrian to Terlan just to the north west of the Unterrain Church.
History: the first owners of the house were aristocrats from Sterzing, the family Hungerhauser. They passed it on to the family Jöchl-Rost and it then came into the hands of the convent from Seefeld. In 1690 it was renovated in Baroque style. The following owners were the family Mörl. Architectural style: the main house has been kept in the late Gothic style. A Baroque oriel and round and pointed archways to the cellars have been added. The old working quarters have been renovated into a modern house.
