The reputation of the South Tyrolean wines on the Italian and international market is due to the conscientious care of the vineyards, the use of quality vines, the first class winery work, and last but not least, the extraordinary soil and climatic conditions. As in all wine areas of the world, the landscape leaves its mark on the character of the wine.
While you are spending your holiday in Eppan, a trip to a winery with wine tasting is something that shouldn’t be missed. Ask at the local wineries, most of them offer tours and tastings.
