“oan hebm” – to drink a glass of wine;

“Fassl” – wooden barrel for storing wine

“Fuxen” – unripe grapes;

"Leitn” – slopes where the vines are planted;

“Pergl” – comes from the Italian word “pergola” and means the wooden frame for growing the grapes;

“Schaffer” – wine cellar man;

“Törggelen” – autumn activity of drinking the new wine and eating followed by roast chestnuts;

“Torggl” – grape press;

“Trester” – pulp left over after pressing the grapes that is used to make Schnapps;

“Wimmen” – grape harvest;

“Wimmschaffl” – plastic container used to collect the grapes from the vine;

“des tuat ober stabn” – there is a lot of dust, when the grapes are picked.

Just a small example of words so that you can understand what two farmers are saying when they talk to each other.
