International Tennis Tournament in Rungg

The international tennis tournament in August, at the TC Rungg courts has become a true tradition. Tennis professionals from all over the world fight for points in the ATP world rankings and offer up world class sport for their audience. This is a tournament of the so-called Futures category. Participants are drawn from young tennis professionals, who are around the 400th rating in the world rankings and want to better their position.

Late opening on Wednesdays in St. Michael

In July and August, more than 40 businesses in the centre of St. Michael open their doors once a week during the evening. The proprietors of pubs and restaurants spoil their guests with tasty titbits and many live musicians, clowns and magicians ensure great entertainment until 11 p.m. at night!

Children’s Entertainment at Montiggl Pool

From Monday to Saturday every week in July and August, the Limo Team arrange a fun programme for all children at the Montiggl Pool at the large Lake Montiggl. the swimming pool with the longest water slide in South Tyrol. Take the city bus transfer to the lakes.

This choir from the Dolomites looks back at a long and very successful musical past. He became world-famous with the song "La Montanara". Even if this choir is asked internationally very much the singers follow all one middle-class occupation. It is the love to the music and to the songs which has brought together these singers.

The last grape load

Every year in autumn the famous last grape load is going to be pressed at the village square of Girlan. Delightful grape juice and noble wines are offered beside regional specialities.

Martini Festival and Shooting at the shooting range in St. Michael – Eppan

Every year in November, the traditional Martini and Shooting Festival takes place at the oldest, active historic shooting range in South Tyrol, with 120 meter small-bore rifles, as well as air guns and air pistols. The pressure-protected shooting range is open all year round.

Girlan Cellar Festival and St. Paul’s Village Festival.

Every four years, the Girlan wine-growers open their cellars and the village presents itself at its best. Every second year, the associations of St. Pauls organise probably the most famous, popular village festival of South Tyrol: the St. Paul’s Village Festival. Visitors are drawn from far and near, as they do not want to miss the many festive stands in the lanes and courtyards and in particular the culinary delights and the entertainment.

Crib Exhibition in St. Pauls

Crib Exhibition in St. Pauls gives a special romantic fascination to the biggest crib exhibition in South Tyrol. More then 100 cribs where showed in small windows and neat bays. From 16:00 strolls past at illuminated windows, one stops off in the Advent cellars and listens to the devout music of the Christmas music groups. A live crib exhibition completes the offer.
