Faces of people who love water light up as soon as they hear this word. Who hasn’t heard of the Montiggler Lakes?

Surrounded by woods, it is the ideal place to relax. Whether you want to swim in the swimming pool or find a quiet place round one of the lakes, you will find what you are looking for. Surrounded by trees and hills, they create a special atmosphere. At the swimming pool in the large lake, parents can have a bit of a rest while the children enjoy the entertainment. Or what about sunbathing on the cliffs?
To reduce problems of parking, we have a free shuttle bus that takes to and from Montiggl in summer. The Seeschlossl is the perfect addition to the lakes. The nearby village looks very idyllic with its church and the surrounding farms. An ideal area for bike tours.

The lakes are a nature reserve surrounded by woods and an ideal place to switch off and relax. Look at our web cam to see pictures of four seasons. You can swim in the lakes from April to October, and the swimming pool has one of the longest slides in South Tyrol. The huge lawn, the heated swimming pool, the pool bar, the restaurant with South Tyrolean and Italian specialities as well as boat rental make this a place to spend a day you will not forget so quickly.
