If it rains or the sun shines,
Eppan is never never boring.
Some days we have rain but not be disappeared,
than you can visit the Messner Moutain Museum and enjoy some culture.
But if the sun shines from the clear sky,
Lake Montiggl shows his amazing beauty.
Eppan has so much to tell you, but this is not enough you must feel Eppan!!!

Eppan/Appiano - A special kind of village… 

The sun, the wine, the gastronomic specialities, the Dolomites... in every catalog and on every touristic webpage, you can find a lot of praises to this wonderful location, which name’s Appiano/Eppan.
But... are we really sure, that we have to be thankful for all this famousness only Mother Nature? I don’t think so. I’m sure, the thing, which revitalizes this village from the inside, which makes it simply unique... are the people. Trust me...The flicker in their eyes, if a wine tastes especially well, their frank cordiality, their warmth...you cannot find it everywhere....
That’s sure: Appiano’s/Eppan’s really amazing is its people.

My perfect day

SPRING - full of contrasts.
In the morning still enjoying the last winter-feelings by skiing down the sunny slopes and in the afternoon having a booming bike tour between the flourishing apple tree plantations around Eppan.

SUMMER - cooling down and chillout.
After a hard working day a refreshing jump into the Lake of Montiggl followed by a pleasant evening on one of the several cultural offers tasting a glass of typical regional wine.

AUTUMN - what unique colours.
Doing some activities like climbing or jogging in the local recreation area of Montiggl. Later I would never like to miss a walk through the Gaider Wiesen to experience a never-ending sea of autumn colours. The traditional Southtyrolean Törggelen in a farm´s snuggery helps me getting back the strenght and is a must.

WINTER - cosiness and treat.
Guess what my day will be like? A two hours lasting brunch with friends followed by a ice-skating ´party´ on one of the nearby lakes in Eppan.
Afterwards for getting warm i feel happy to relax in a spa/sauna or why not just visiting to the Christmas market Eppaner Winterdorf drinking a pleasant hot Glühwein.
