A free ride or easy rider tour par excellence! Due to the two mountain railways this tour incurs a climb of barely 600m difference in altitude while a descent of 2,500m in altitude difference, partly flowy, partly technical, can be enjoyed. On the shady slope of the Kohlerer descent bikers have a view of the regional capital of Bozen, while the Rittner descent on the sunny side offers a unique panorama of the Dolomite Mountains. A tour trail for addicts!
If you have time and feel fit enough it is recommended to extend this tour to include the Rittner Horn (2,200m above sea level). The peak with its impressive 360° panorama is one of the most beautiful vantage points of South Tyrol. You can shorten the ascent to the Rittner Horn by using the mountain railway.
