Restaurant Steinegger

The Steinegger restaurant and trattoria is renowned and steeped in tradition. The same family has been running it since 1669. Visitors are immediately struck by the wonderful view over Bolzano and the Dolomites. Then, when they look at the menu, they are again impressed by the seasonal, home-made dishes, understanding why the Steinegger has a special place in the hearts, and the palates, of its many regular diners. Tyrolean dishes meet Italian antipasti, as well as home-made pasta creations. The kitchen is open all afternoon and in the evening until 9:00. On warms summer evenings, we serve dinner on the terrace, with its panoramic view. The play area in the wood, the bowling alley, the bowling green and the 4.5m trampoline are all available free of charge to our guests. For large parties, we recommend reserving the Steinegger Pergola, which is covered and large enough for big groups. The authentic “stube” (Tyrolean room) with its rustic style, is perfect for smaller family parties.
