As the centerpiece of the Messner Mountain Museum, MMM Firmian in Sigmundskron Castle adresses the subject of man’s encounter with the mountains. The museum is organized as an itinerary between the various works of art, installations and relicts that it houses. The paths, stairs, and towers lead visitors from the origins of the mountains and the religious significance of the peaks to the history of mountaineering. Especially recommended when the weather is good.
