Guest concert by Antonio Chen Guang

Antonio Chen Guang is no longer a stranger to Eppan. He has already taken part twice in the renowned Piano Academy masterclasses under the direction of Andrea Bonatta and has long since played his way into the hearts of the audience with his performances.

At the 2023 edition of the Piano Academy, he received the "Special Prize", which enables him to give a concert performance as part of the KulturKontakt program. Chen Guang will perform at the Lanserhaus on February 5, 2024.

The now 30-year-old pianist was born in China and studied at the Beijing Central Conservatory. However, his training also took him beyond China, particularly to the USA and Italy. He received his pre-college diploma from the Juilliard School in New York in 2012 and his diploma from the Accademia Internazionale Pianistica di Imola in 2015. He currently lives in Vienna and is continuing his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts.

Music critics praise his exceptional technical skills, his profound musical maturity and his charismatic appearance, which give him an extraordinary stage presence.
