Spring Valley
Montiggl | Eppan
Position:
The Spring Valley is located between lake Kaltern and lake Montiggl.
Nowhere else in South Tyrol do so many spring knot flowers bloom in spring as in the marshy hollow of this valley. Beautiful stands of alder line the moor water from the two lakes. Violets and the purple to red corollas of the lungwort appear in the hedgerows. In the Forstgarten area, the green lizard can be spotted as early as March in sunny weather. A valley that rightly deserves its name.
Walks:
The hike in the Spring Valley is very easy and suitable for families with children. This hike is highly recommended in March or spring months, as the valley is already in full bloom very early thanks to the mild climate. Above all, the white "Märzenbecher", in South Tyrol also called "big snowdrops", are present in large numbers. Enjoy the nature and please note: Picking is not allowed!

Christmas in Girlan
During Advent, the village is transformed into an extraordinary Christmas open-air museum. Around 30 works of art made of staves and the boards of old wine barrels, invite you to take an atmospheric stroll through the alleys of the wine village.
Christmas in St. Pauls
During the Christmas season, discover the traditional Nativity Exhibition, the Living Nativity Scene, the Crafts at the Cathedral (Handwerk am Dom), and experience the St. Nicholas and Krampus Procession in St. Pauls.
Girlaner Adventhitt
The Girlaner Adventhitt at Tannerhof cordially invites everyone to its festive opening on November 29. The event begins at 3 p.m. and offers visitors an atmospheric start to the Advent season. As a special highlight, the Girlan Youth Band will give a concert at 4 p.m.
Living Crib
A very special highlight is organized by the Nativity Society on Sunday, December 14th & 21st in the center of St. Pauls. At 5 p.m. the "Living Crib" will solemnly move in through the historic alleys of St. Pauls to the specially built stable in front of the parish church.

Gala concert by the Egerländer Blasmusik Neusiedl am See brass band
The concert program of the Egerländer Blasmusik Neusiedl am See features many well-known Bohemian melodies that have become Egerländer hits around the world, such as the march “Astronautenmarsch” and the waltz “Rauschende Birken.” In addition, the orchestra will demonstrate its versatility and perfection by venturing into other musical genres.
