Mindful...

... in case of emergency

In an emergency, every second counts, and it’s important to act quickly and correctly. The unified emergency number 112 is available 24/7 and connects you directly with the appropriate rescue services – depending on the situation, the White or Red Cross, fire brigade, mountain rescue, police or Carabinieri may respond.
It is crucial to only dial 112 in genuine emergencies, so that rescue resources are used efficiently.

How to act correctly in an emergency:

  • Stay calm and do not put yourself in danger.
  • Provide first aid and monitor the injured person.
  • Call 112, give your exact location, and answer questions patiently.
  • When rescue teams arrive, describe the situation and let them take care of the injured person – stay nearby in case more information is needed and only assist if requested.
