Eppan Castle Festival

Experience the Middle Ages up close at the Eppan Castle Festival, a special event for the whole family! At the picturesque Hocheppan Castle, the Knights of Andrian will enchant you with mesmerizing medieval dances, impressive armor displays, thrilling sword fights, and an exciting jousting tournament.

Another real highlight awaits you in the castle's Palas: an exhibition by the artist Rainer Kainrath from Eppan. His imaginative works about castles, knights and medieval life - including his interpretation of the famous “dumpling eater,” and the “foolish virgins” - invite you to marvel and join in. The exhibition opens on the day of the event and remains open until the end of the season. For young visitors, there will be interactive workshops, where they can craft their own leather pouches and showcase their bravery in a special children's tournament. At Boymont Castle, an exciting supporting program also awaits you.
