The Wine Cellar Night

On Friday, June 12, 2026, the Night of the Cellars will take place in the northern part of the South Tyrolean Wine Route. From 5 p.m. to midnight, a total of 14 wineries and vineyards at 12 locations in Nals, Terlano, and Bolzano will offer tastings, tours, culinary delights, and musical entertainment – ​​giving wine lovers the opportunity to experience the diversity of South Tyrolean wine culture in a single evening.

 

The participating businesses – from traditional wineries with centuries of history to modern cellars with award-winning architecture – will offer exclusive insights into the production of South Tyrolean wines and sparkling wines. In addition to guided cellar tours, tastings of selected wines, culinary specialties, and musical entertainment will be offered. Each winery designs its own program, and the offerings will vary.

 

A shuttle service will connect the participating wineries in Nals, Terlano, and Bolzano for a hassle-free evening. Tickets are available on all shuttle buses as well as at the two information points at the Bolzano winery and the Griesbauerhof winery.

About the Night of the Cellars The Night of the Cellars is one of the most renowned wine events on the South Tyrolean Wine Route and takes place annually in mid-June. It is aimed at wine lovers as well as anyone who wants to get to know the wine region and its producers better. The South Tyrolean Wine Route – one of the oldest wine routes in Italy – stretches over 150 km from Nals in the north to Salurn in the south and encompasses approximately 4,400 hectares of vineyards.
