- Choriosum - NEXT GENERATION
Choriosum - NEXT GENERATION
The future sings with us
For over 20 years, Choriosum has been synonymous with innovative a cappella music full of energy, passion, and sonic diversity. With its new concert series, the choir is venturing into something very special: for the first time, 42 children and young people will be joining the experienced members on stage.
At the beginning of October 2025, the expanded Choriosum family thrilled around 1,500 enthusiastic listeners with a musical extravaganza full of energy, emotion, and joie de vivre. For the choir, it was more than just a concert project: for the first time, two generations sang together - parents and children, experienced voices and new talents. The “Next Generation” project arose from the idea of passing on enthusiasm for music to younger people and showing them how fulfilling singing together can be.
The program ranged from rock classics such as Eye of the Tiger to modern pop songs such as Titanium to soulful ballads such as Shallow and well-known Coldplay hits. Precision and sonority met youthful freshness and enthusiasm—a combination that gave the audience goose bumps.

Culture Hall St. Michael | Eppan
7 pm
Choir director Hannes Knollseisen led the choir through the program with his usual musical finesse. Lukas Filippi provided rhythmic power with beatboxing and loops, while Florian Eccel guided the audience through the evening with wit and charm.
It is particularly noteworthy that many children and young adults, aged 4 to 26, took to the stage for the first time in this project. The fact that the two generations have grown together so harmoniously fills the choir with great joy and gratitude – both as a musical group and as an extended family.
The feedback from the audience was overwhelming. Comments such as “Your enthusiasm is so infectious!” and “So much heart, quality, and joy all at once!” confirm the success and emotional impact of the joint concert.
