Hocheppan Castle Run

The Hocheppan Castle Run invites athletes and recreational runners to conquer the hills leading up to one of the region’s most significant castle complexes.

The race starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Eppan Golf Club in Unterrain. From there, the approximately 7-kilometer course takes participants through picturesque countryside, with an elevation gain of about 400 meters. The finish line could hardly be more spectacular: the historic courtyard of Hocheppan Castle, where runners are welcomed in a medieval atmosphere after their strenuous climb.

After the physical exertion, the focus shifts to fellowship. The awards ceremony will take place at the castle starting around 8:40 p.m. During the subsequent raffle, all participants will have a chance to win great prizes, before the evening winds down with food and drinks at the castle tavern.
