Eppan Scouts

Maypole Festival

Once again this year, the Eppan Scouts cordially invite you to the traditional Maypole Festival. The celebrations will take place on April 30 and May 1 in the village square of St. Michael.


The communal raising of the maypole will begin at 5:30 p.m. on April 30. The band “SallyCanWait” will provide entertainment, and food and drink will of course be available.

On May 1, a varied festival program awaits you with musical accompaniment by the “Jungböhmische Jenesien” and the band “Zwoa a Holb Lederhosen.” You can also look forward to

performances by the “Volkstanzgruppe Montan” and the “Eppaner Schuhplattler.”

There is a separate children's corner for our youngest guests.

April 30th:

From 5:30 p.m. - Joint erection of the maypole with musical entertainment

 

May 1st:

10:00 a.m. - Maypole blessing and welcome speech

10:15 a.m. - Barrel tapping and ribbon dance by the Montan folk dance group

10:30 a.m. - Young Bohemian Jenesien From 11:30 a.m. - Eppan Schuhplattler From 1:30 p.m. - Musical entertainment with “Zwoa a Holb Lederhosen”
