A special highlight was the opening of the art exhibition “Ainst auf Hocheppan” by the Eppan-based artist Rainer Kainrath in the Palas of Hocheppan Castle. Through imaginative works, the exhibition transports visitors back to life at the castle—exploring themes such as knighthood, wine, and history. A replica of the famous “Knödelesserin” fresco is also on display. In addition, in some of his works, Kainrath explores the playful question of whether Martin Luther once stayed at Hocheppan—an idea he brings to life with great creativity. The exhibition will remain open until the end of the season; it’s well worth a visit!
