A vineyard shines in green

The Treasures of the Vineyard

Every fine wine originates directly in the vineyard, which is why Eppan Wine is celebrating this year under the motto "Treasures of the Vineyard." As the largest wine-growing municipality in South Tyrol, Eppan cultivates an area of approximately 1,000 hectares. The dominant color of the region is green – not only in nature, but also in the glass: Around 70% of the wines produced are white, while the remaining 30% are red.

Sustainable Lighting

A special highlight is the atmospheric lighting, which can be admired from approximately 9:00 p.m. to midnight. Great emphasis is placed on sustainability:

  • The required electricity of approximately 15 kW is produced in an environmentally friendly way by a photovoltaic system.
  • The green light used not only creates a special atmosphere, but is also particularly environmentally and animal-friendly.
