St. Nicholas and Krampus in St. Michael

 

St. Nicholas not only stops in St. Michael, but also in Girlan, St. Pauls and Gand to bring small rewards to the children - a custom that brings joy to the hearts during Advent. On Sunday, December 6, 2026, starting at 2.30 p.m, the streets of St. Michael | Eppan transform into a festive spectacle as Saint Nicholas, accompanied by Knecht Ruprecht, a brass band, and the Volunteer Fire Brigade of St. Michael, parades on a magnificent carriage pulled by horses from the train station through Albertus Magnus Square and Josef Innerhofer Street to the Town Hall Square in the heart of St. Michael | Eppan.
